Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office at Wenatchee Valley College is available to assist students in finding and applying for all types of financial assistance, including grants, work study opportunities, veteran benefits, scholarships and student loans.

The financial aid office hours are as follows:  Monday - Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  Closed Fridays and holidays.  Evening appointments are available by request. The office phone number is (509) 682-6810 and fax is 509 682 6811.  The financial aid email address is: financialaid@wvc.edu.

To qualify for financial aid, students must be enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program at Wenatchee Valley College.

To apply for financial aid, simply complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/, or pick up the FAFSA worksheet from the financial aid office. You will need our school code, which is 003801. Also, check out the Application Checklist for the three basic steps in applying for financial aid.

Once you have completed the FAFSA, we will contact you by mail regarding your eligibility and status.

March 1 is the deadline for priority consideration for financial aid for the following school year, which begins with the fall quarter. If you miss that deadline, you may still use the FAFSA to apply for student loans and remaining grant funds.

Loans, unlike grants or work study, are borrowed money that must be repaid, with interest. To apply for a loan, a student loan application must be completed and submitted to our office.  You must also have a completed FAFSA in addition to the loan worksheet.
