300.850 REGULAR & SUBSTANTIVE INTERACTION POLICY
It is the policy of Wenatchee Valley College that all course sections with distance
education components, whether synchronous or asynchronous, will include instructor-initiated,
predictable, and documented Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI) consistent with
34 CFR §600.2.” RSI will be documented in the learning management system through instructor-created
instructional materials, facilitated discussions, and/or individualized feedback mechanisms.
