Study Abroad

Do you want to see the world? Would you be interested in studying abroad? Well this is your chance! WVC has partnered with the Washington State Community College Consortium for Study Abroad (WCCCSA) to offer students an affordable study abroad opportunity. Students have the opportunity to travel to countries like England, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, and more. The credits earned while studying abroad can also help you complete WVC degree requirements. No foreign language knowledge is required to participate but some age restrictions do apply.

  • Spring 2020: Berlin, Germany - Early Bird application deadline (save $100!) is Wednesday, October 30, 2019. For those purchasing the group flight option, the application deadline is Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Final application deadline is Friday, January 10, 2020.
    • WCCCSA will provide two $1000 study abroad scholarships for students applying to the spring 2020 Berlin, Germany program. The WCCCSA scholarship application is due Friday, January 10, 2020.
    • The WVC Foundation will provide two $1500 study abroad scholarships for WVC students applying to the spring 2020 Berlin, Germany program. The WVC scholarship application is due Friday, January 10, 2020

  • Spring 2020: Taipei, Taiwan - Application deadline Friday, January 17, 2020.
  • Summer 2020
    • Costa Rica - Application deadline May 2020.
    • China - Application deadline Spring 2020.
  • Fall 2020: London, England - Application deadline Spring 2020.
  • Fall 2020: Tokyo, Japan - Application deadline June 2020.
  • Spring 2021: Lyon, France - Application deadline Winter 2020.
  • Fall 2021: Barcelona, Spain - Application deadline June 2021.
