As a former participant of both the CAMP and TRIO SSS programs during her undergraduate studies, Yatzari’s experiences have shaped who she is today. She has a heart for education and service, having served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, working with underserved students in the Wenatchee School District's after-school program, and tutoring/mentoring transitional studies students at WVC. Her role as a legal support specialist at the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project further enriched her experience. Since joining TRIO SSS in February 2024, Yatzari has been excited to use her background to help and guide students toward success in their education and careers. She is currently pursuing a master of science in mental health and wellness with a focus on family dynamics from Grand Canyon University, set to complete by Spring 2025.
