Wenatchee Valley College has named Lindsey Morrow as the new director of Presidential Initiatives in the President’s Office following an internal search. Her first day is Aug. 24.
In her new role, Morrow will provide advanced executive and administrative support while performing highly confidential work on behalf of the WVC president, board of trustees, and the college. Morrow’s duties include coordinating, leading, and advancing presidential, institutional, and community initiatives that strengthen collaboration, build trust, and foster engagement among students, faculty, staff, alumni, K–20 educational partners, legislators, industry leaders, community organizations, and other external stakeholders in support of the college's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.

I am passionate about ensuring that we continue to make a difference in our students’ lives and help change the trajectory not only of their futures, but of future generations as well,” Morrow said. “I look forward to supporting initiatives that strengthen connections across the college and community, advance our strategic priorities, and help WVC continue building stronger, more inclusive communities.”
Morrow brings experience in workforce development, strategic project coordination, administrative operations, and community partnership-building. Before transitioning into the director of Presidential Initiatives position, Morrow served in WVC’s Workforce Education department, where she connected college programs with regional workforce needs, industry partners, and student opportunities. She also previously served as an administrative assistant at WVC.
Her work has included program alignment, outreach, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. She also brings leadership, relationship management, and customer-service experience from the hospitality industry.
Morrow earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in Administrative Management from Central Washington University and an associate’s degree in Business Computer Technology from Wenatchee Valley College. She recently completed the Washington community and technical college system’s Middle Leadership Academy, which provided mid-level leaders with an opportunity to develop skills in equity-centered leadership, institutional transformation, and student success.
