Knights Golf Classic Tournament scheduled for Sept. 13

The 18th Annual Knights Golf Classic Tournament to benefit Wenatchee Valley College student athletes is Friday, Sept. 13, at the Highlander Golf Club in East Wenatchee.

Registration and chipping and putting contests begin at 9 a.m., followed by a shotgun start for the tournament at 10 a.m. A social hour, dinner, awards and a raffle immediately follow the conclusion of the tournament.

Participants may register individually or as a foursome. The individual package costs $125 and includes a golf cart, tournament gift bag and soft drinks provided by Pepsi-Cola of Wenatchee, all green fees including the cart, and lunch catered by the Highlander Grill. The Silver Package for a group of four costs $600 and includes a sponsorship sign with company name and logo at the tee or green, two golf carts, and all additional items that are included in the individual package.

First-, second- and third-place winners will receive gift certificates from the Highlander pro shop. Prizes will also be awarded for the longest men's and women's drives, KPs and top teams.
