Omak Foundation scholarships
WVC at Omak Foundation awards $6,000 in winter-quarter scholarships

The Wenatchee Valley College at Omak Foundation recently awarded $6,000 in multiple scholarships to students this winter. The ten scholarships ranged from $500 to $1,000 each. The Omak Foundation Scholarship Committee reviewed the submitted applications and selected ten recipients.
Laura Gribble of Omak and Troy Riling-Anderson of Okanogan were awarded $1,000 each from the Vaughan Memorial Scholarship, in memory of Dolores Vaughan. This memorial scholarship is from donations made by her family. Both Gribble and Riling-Anderson are majoring in the associate of arts and sciences transfer degree.
The following scholarships, worth $500 each, were made possible through the combined support of Steve and Joyce Chervinskas, Stan Berg Memorial Fund, Franklin Allen Memorial Fund, and the Okanogan Regional Home Health and Hospice Endowment Fund.
