WVC new student orientations at Wenatchee and Omak campuses

Students entering their first year at Wenatchee Valley College are invited to attend student orientations at the Wenatchee and Omak campuses.

New student orientation at the Omak campus will be on Thursday, Sept. 18. Students may select from two orientation times, 2 to 4 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m. The orientation includes workshops about financial aid, how to be a successful student and how to navigate the student portal. The WVC at Omak student government will provide campus tours and student identification cards. Food and entertainment will be available from 4 to 5 p.m.

The Wenatchee campus orientation will be Friday, Sept. 19, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Smith Gym. Students will learn about tools and resources to help them be successful in college, including how to access their student account, find classrooms, manage financial aid and plan for their future career. They will also be able to get their student identification and bus pass sticker, take a campus tour, and meet faculty and staff. Following orientation, a free barbecue for new students and a live music performance will be held around the fountain.
