WVC Chamber Singers team up with elementary school choirs for concert June 8

The Wenatchee Valley College Chamber Singers will have some video-game inspired music and visuals at their concert on Thursday, June 8, at 7 p.m. in The Grove Recital Hall, Music and Art Center. Special guests include the Lewis and Clark Elementary School choirs.

Admission is $5 per person or $10 per family. Doors will open at 6:40 p.m.

The concert will include traditional works such as “Oh Danny Boy” and “Blue Skies,” the popular Spanish song “La Bikina,” and a medley of Nintendo video game music set for choir that include a projection of video gameplay and trailers. The choir will also sing Sir Alfred Lord Tennyson’s “The Lady of Shalott” while images are projected about events in the poem.
