Students entering their first year at Wenatchee Valley College are invited to attend student orientations at the Wenatchee and Omak campuses.

New student orientation at the Omak campus will be on Thursday, Sept. 15. Students may select from two orientation times, 2 to 4 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m. Food and entertainment will be available from 4 to 5 p.m. The orientation will include college success workshops. The WVC at Omak student government will provide campus tours and student identification cards.

The Wenatchee campus orientation will be Friday, Sept. 16, from 3 to 6 p.m. Students will learn about tools and resources to help them be successful in college, including how to access their student account, find classrooms, manage financial aid and plan for their future career. They will also be able to get their student identification and bus pass sticker, and take a campus tour.

Students needing special accommodations for orientation should contact Carla Boyd, WVC Student Access Coordinator at 509.682.6854 or e-mail cboyd@wvc.edu.

The Wenatchee campus orientation is sponsored by the Associated Students of WVC. The Omak campus new student orientation is sponsored by the Associated Students of WVC at Omak.
