The Knights would like to welcome Zaria Jones from Kent, WA. While at Kentwood High School, Jones was awarded Most Inspirational, Most Improved, Student of the Month, and Student of the Year for Family and Consumer Science. After her high school career, Zaria played one year at Evergreen State College where she had a great season. She averaged 8.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. Jones intendeds on getting a degree in Health Science and plans on becoming a nurse. Outside of basketball Zaria enjoys doing puzzles, cooking, and sewing. She chose WVC because of the strong supportive environment. WVC offers the program that she is interested in studying and also allows her to continue playing the game she loves. We are excited to have her on our team. Go Knights!
