Plans for fall quarter 2021 and fall enrollment guide

Sent 5/11/21

While most classes will remain online and remote this fall, faculty and WVC leadership have been working hard to provide more in-person learning opportunities.

WVC recognizes this is a difficult time for you and wants to provide flexibility for students. Some of you may want an opportunity to return to campus, while also choosing online instruction. Our delivery will vary from course to course.

Courses may be offered:

  • entirely in person
  • entirely online with required Zoom meetings
  • as hybrids, meeting in person and online, or
  • entirely online with no meeting time commitments.

Regardless of how a course is offered, the first week of the fall quarter will be entirely online for all courses. This will allow for communication between students and instructors regarding in-person opportunities.

Courses providing on-campus instruction will be held using social distancing and safety guidelines provided by the Washington Department of Health in fall.

To assist you with class search and selection, we have compiled a fall 2021 enrollment guide with tips for identifying which format a class will take.

As you look back on spring quarter, let us know how we're doing by taking the student learning experience survey. We'd appreciate feedback about your fall quarter plans as well.
