Wenatchee Valley College Foundation welcomes new staff

The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation has hired two new staff members, and added an annual giving position.

Mireya Sanchez was hired as the foundation executive assistant in July 2021. Mireya comes to the Foundation with over 11 years in the banking business.

Jill Leonard was hired as the foundation communications specialist in December 2021. Before this she worked in marketing and communications with Chaos Control Consulting.

Ellora La Shier was promoted to the annual giving and scholarships coordinator. In her new role, Ellora leads the foundation’s annual fundraising appeals, which include direct mail and digital components. She also manages the scholarship program for Wenatchee Valley College, including the application, review, and selection process. Ellora has been with the foundation since 2018.
