The Wenatchee Valley College Radiologic Technology program has received an eight-year accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, the maximum duration of accreditation that can be awarded in this category.

The JRCERT is the only agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry.

“This accreditation demonstrates that our faculty and programs are high quality, and students can expect excellence in their education,” said Yuritzi Lozano, WVC Dean of Allied Health and Professional Technical Programs.

WVC offers a two-year associate of technical science degree in radiologic technology, and the program includes a distance delivery option. Radiologic technology is one of the college’s highest enrolled programs. For more information about the program, visit www.wvc.edu/radtech
