The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation will host the third annual Food Truck Knight on September 20, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This community event is presented by Numerica Credit Union and will take place around the fountain at the Wenatchee Valley College campus. All money raised during the event supports WVC Foundation’s mission of providing access to education and investing in student success.

“Food Truck Knight is the perfect opportunity to enjoy delicious local eats and the WVC campus,” said Lupe Brito, WVC Foundation development director. “This event supports our mission and wouldn’t be possible without our incredible sponsors.”

This year’s event features a variety of food trucks, a beer and wine garden, kids’ zone, Mariachi, community art mural activity, and a dunk tank fundraiser. Dunk tank participants include Wenatchee Mayor Mike Poirier, Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison, Steve Wilkinson, executive director of the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, Greg Wood of Weinstein Beverage, Rosa Pulido, executive director of the Wenatchee Downtown Association, and WVC notables Brett Riley, vice president of administrative services, Roberto Villa, student leadership & engagement coordinator, and Joe Eubanks, executive director of climate, culture, diversity, and belonging.

"Numerica is excited to sponsor the third annual Food Truck Knight! At Numerica, we believe in making a difference for children and families in our community”, said Jessica Clay, Numerica community engagement & philanthropy senior manager. "By supporting this event, we're helping WVC Foundation raise funds to ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed and achieve their dreams."

There is no admission or parking fee for Food Truck Knight. Guests will purchase food and drinks directly from vendors. Seating is limited, lawn chairs or picnic blankets are highly encouraged.
