Wenatchee Valley College Foundation is pleased to announce Emily Scovill as the new Program Manager. In this newly expanded role, she will oversee both the WVC Foundation’s scholarship program and the Knights Collective, a new volunteer program.

"We are excited to have Emily continue with the WVC Foundation in a new and high-level role,” said Rachel Evey, WVC Foundation executive director. “Emily has a proven track record and dedication to serving WVC students. She will be instrumental in fulfilling our mission through the scholarship program and Knights Collective.”

Scovill joined the WVC Foundation in January 2024 as a Communications Specialist, where she led the Foundation’s communications for marketing, fundraising, and storytelling efforts. Her work strengthened donor outreach, improved data reporting, and expanded WVC Foundation’s digital engagement strategies.

She brings with her extensive nonprofit and engagement experience, having previously served as Outreach & Communications Coordinator for Cancer Care of North Central Washington. She has also worked as a social media manager for regional businesses and nonprofit clients, crafting digital strategies and marketing campaigns.

In her new role, Scovill will be responsible for managing the WVC Foundation’s scholarship application process including award disbursement. She will also coordinate volunteer recruitment, marketing, and training for the Knights Collective. The Knights Collective launched in January 2025 and is currently recruiting those willing to share their time and talents for a variety of activities throughout the year. It is open to anyone in the community, including current WVC students and alumni.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue building on the Foundation’s exceptional scholarship program,” Scovill said. “I’ve seen the life-changing impact these scholarships have on our students, and I’m excited to expand those opportunities. I’m also looking forward to growing our volunteer program to support more activities and events that benefit the WVC community.”

Scovill holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Central Washington University and an associate degree from Wenatchee Valley College. She lives in Wenatchee, where she continues to manage social media accounts for several clients and serves as a creative consultant for nonprofit fundraising, storytelling, and marketing.
