Chelan Douglas Community Candidates Forum Oct. 12

A public forum for candidates running for office in Chelan and Douglas counties is set for Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m. on the Wenatchee Valley College campus in Van Tassell Center west of the campus fountain.

The event will feature 10 races. Each candidate will be given up to eight minutes to speak. The following is an ordered list of candidate presenters:

The center is wheel-chair accessible and a sign language interpreter will be available. An assessable voting unit will be on display. Candidates have been asked to provide campaign materials in alternative formats for disabled voters, if available. Parking is free.

The event is sponsored by the Associated Students of Wenatchee Valley College. The student body presidentwill serve as master of ceremonies.
