WVC seeks Alumni of the Year nominations

Community members are invited to submit nominations for the Wenatchee Valley College Distinguished Alumni of the Year. Alumni from both the Wenatchee and Omak campuses are eligible.

Written nominations are due in the WVC Community Relations Office, 1300 Fifth Street, Wenatchee, or to krshannon@wvc.edu, by Friday, May 15. The winner will be announced at graduation ceremonies on June 12.

In submitting nominations, specific reasons why the person deserves the award and approximate years of attendance should be included.

Last year's Distinguished Alumnus was Mike Dempsey, sales representative at Cherry Creek Radio. Among other past recipients are Bob Rust, Ray Taylor, Robert McDougall, Norm Gutzwiler, Earl Tilly, Robert Graham, Ken Eikenberry, Roger Brantner, Dave Phillippi, George Sellar, Michael Doneen, Mary Bryan Sand, Eldon Anderson, Louis Van Doren, Dick Van Well, Tom Goodwin, Sandy Cooprider, John Gordon, Larry Smith, Katie Kemble and Fred Valentine.
