Broken Blossoms will perform at WVC on Nov. 10

Broken Blossoms, a contemporary folk-grass band from Boston, will perform at the Wenatchee Valley College Wenatchee campus on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 12:30 p.m. in the Van Tassell Center Student Lounge. The event, sponsored by the Associated Students of WVC, is free and open to the public.

The band performs original material and rearranged songs from the folk/bluegrass canon, drawing equal influence from traditional bluegrass and modern folk-pop.

The band’s members were gathered by songwriter and guitarist Andy Cambria as a support band for several of Boston’s singer-songwriters. A band dynamic quickly emerged, and the group decided to venture out on its own.
