Breast cancer awareness program and lighted balloon release Oct. 30

The Wenatchee Valley College MEChA-International club invites the community to release a pink balloon in memory or in honor of a loved on who has encountered breast cancer on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. near the fountain on the Wenatchee campus.

The program will begin with a presentation of educational materials and a keynote speaker, and will conclude with the release of glowing pink balloons at 7:30 p.m.

Cost is $2 per balloon. All proceeds will be donated to the Wellness Place.
