Cody Beebe and the Crooks perform at WVC Jan. 28

Cody Beebe and the Crooks will perform at Wenatchee Valley College on Friday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. in Van Tassell Center student lounge on the Wenatchee campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Cody Beebe and the Crooks is a seven-piece roots rock band that blends rock, blues and country music. Singer Cody Beebe, a Selah native, began his singing/songwriting career in 2004. His song, “Remember My Name,” received an honorable mention in the VH1 Save the Music Foundation songwriting contest and, in 2007, his songs were featured on the syndicated Fox television show, Jackson Horn.

The Crooks include guitarist Greg Floyd, percussionist Joe Catron, Tyler Paxton on harmonica and banjo, Chris Green on drums, bassist Eric Miller, and pianist Aaron Myers.

The band has released one album, Friends of the Old Mill, in 2010.

This performance is sponsored by the Associated Students of WVC.
