WVC Chamber Singers at PAC concert

The Wenatchee Valley College Chamber Singers will perform at the Wenatchee Performing Arts Center (PAC) as guests at the Icicle Creek Youth Symphony and Icicle Creek Academy Orchestra concert on Monday, March 22, at 7 p.m.

The Chamber Singers will perform an original work, Only Love, for orchestra and chorus (composed by Chamber Singers director Juel Iwaasa, with the text by Martin Luther King Junior), and an arrangement by the British pop group Coldplay of Viva La Vida, featuring tenor soloist Arnolda Martinez, a WVC music major.

The concert will also feature WVC music major Christine Milnes performing the first movement of the Mozart Flute Concerto No. 1 in G Major, K. 313. Milnes is performing as the winner of the Second Annual Icicle Creek Music Center Concerto Competition.
