The Wenatchee Valley College Foundation recently established two new annual scholarships for WVC students with preference to those who have graduated from Entiat High School.

• Entiat Valley Computer & Media - Network Administration Scholarship
• RLS Productions, LLC – Digital Design Scholarship

The purpose of each scholarship is to provide up to $1,000 for hardware and/or software for second year WVC students enrolled in either the computer technology-network administration program or the digital design program in an effort to increase student success and completion.

The scholarships are funded by Robert and Rio Sandidge of Entiat Valley Computer & Media, and RLS Productions, LLC, through proceeds they have donated from the Summer Concerts in the Gardens at Ohme Garden concert series, produced July and August of 2014.

"As graduates of Wenatchee Valley College, we are very connected to the college and its programs and see the need that students have, but don't necessarily have the financial support to address," said Robert Sandidge. "Rio and I are pleased to be able to give back to support students of the educational institution that is so close to our hearts and in our backyard."

Robert Sandidge serves on the WVC Foundation board of directors. He is actively involved in the WVC Alumni Association, with Entiat Valley Computer & Media and RLS Productions serving as Alumni Loyalty Partners, a program that rewards alumni for giving back to the WVC Foundation.
