This scholarship is intended to provide financial assistance to a woman who has had
a significant ‘break’ in her education and is now pursuing a degree in the health
sciences field. Applicants must be currently enrolled at Wenatchee Valley College
and pursuing an AAS, AAST, BS, BSN or Certificate in the Allied Health Fields. The
applicants will be reviewed and selected by the donor. See Financial Aid offices for

a minimum GPA of 2.0, complete 12 credits per quarter and who can demonstrate experience
or involvement in school or community activities. Scholarship is renewable for a
second year with demonstrated academic improvement.

GPA. Emphasis placed on students majoring in Business, Economics, Land Management,
Environmental Studies, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or Technology, Human
Resources, Energy and related disciplines that align with MDU Resources Group’s core
business focus.
For second year MLT students planning to continue their education at a four-year
institution and must provide an essay addressing their continuing education plans.
Must maintain 3.0 GPA.

For students with a declared music major.
Student pursuing an education in the Machining program, who demonstrates financial
need, and has a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipient will be offered a paid internship at PA&D
part-time while in school at WVC. Renewable scholarship with priority given to first
year students, but may be second year student if no first year students apply.
For students pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts with a public service goal, (teacher,
librarian, social worker). 3.0 GPA or higher. Preference given to single parent and
those who demonstrate financial need.
Student shall be accepted and enrolled in the WVC BSN program, demonstrate financial
need and maintain minimum 2.5 GPA.
Scholarships for worthy students. Preference given to students residing in Orondo
and Entiat. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Full-time students (12 credits) are eligible to receive
up to $1,000 per quarter ($3,000 per year). Essay score is considering factor in this scholarship. If no students in Orondo or Entiat are selected, residents of Chelan and Douglas
Counties may be considered.
To provide renewable financial assistance to students involved in learning occupational
skills necessary to build, repair, and/or maintain physical things. Students enrolled
in Automotive Technology, Environmental and Refrigeration Technology, Industrial Technology
– Electronics, Industrial Technology – Welding and Fabrication.
For students pursuing an education in the Nursing program.
Student must be pursuing horticultural career. Based on financial need. Full-time
student, minimum 2.0 GPA.

to continue receiving scholarship if they continue to pursue special education at
another institution. Must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled full-time. Award provides
full tuition and fees and in some cases may provide for books and other expenses.
Available to students who are members of a LGBTQ community group. Must indicate affiliation
with a group on application or in essay. Meets the Wenatchee Valley College scholarship
selection committee’s basic requirements.

Preference shall be given to members of the active U.S. Military, Military Reserve,
U.S. Military Veterans as well as a spouse of child of such persons. Recipient must

This scholarship is available to graduates of WestSide High School. GPA is not a
factor. Selection based on metric and financial need. Applications are available
in the WVC Financial Aid Office and at WestSide High School and are submitted directly
to WestSide High School by the advertised deadline on the application instructions

Student should be from Eastern Washington (East of the Cascade Mountains) or Northern
Idaho (north of Riggins, ID). Must be a full time student and maintain a 3.0 GPA
or higher.
Students must be enrolled in the Automotive Technology program. Be from Chelan/Doulgas/Okanogan
County, maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA.
Eligible students should be enrolled full-time in either the Medical Assisting (MA)
or Radiology Technician programs. Reside in Chelan or Douglas Counties. Preference
given to students having prior military experience, or past or present family member
with military experience. If no students meet qualifications, scholarship may be awarded
to any student with income level less than $25,000 annually (gross).
