The board of trustees’ delegates to the president or designee the responsibility to maintain college owned or leased facilities and properties, to engage in capital construction for new or upgraded facilities and to negotiate to purchase land and/or facilities. This delegation includes, but is not limited to, all decisions regarding maintenance practices, emergency procedures, legitimate maintenance expenditures, and the use of outside vendors or in-house labor in the performance of maintenance tasks in accordance with bargained labor agreements and applicable state regulations.
