CARES/CRRSA/ARP Act (HEERF) Funding
Acknowledgment
On April 27, 2020, Wenatchee Valley College (WVC) obligated funds under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. WVC intends to use the funds to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was the first act of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) series of acts. Rounds 2 and 3 of HEERF were the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act.
