Good Jobs Challenge Grant

Program Overview 

The Good Jobs Challenge was established to provide education and career pathway navigation for students interested in pursuing IT careers and contributing to critical technology sectors in North Central Washington. 

The Good Jobs Challenge highlights workforce development as key to accelerating local economic growth and rebuilding regional economies so they are more resilient to future challenges, while providing good job opportunities for American workers to achieve economic mobility and security.

If you are enrolled in a qualifying program and want to see if you are eligible for the Good Jobs Challenge Grant at Wenatchee Valley College, please fill out our Intake Form and one of our staff members will contact you. 

To qualify for support from the Good Jobs Challenge Grant, a student must: 

  • Be a Washington state resident
  • Maintain a 2.0 grade point average
  • Be enrolled in a qualifying degree program (see list of qualifying programs below) 

The Good Jobs Challenge Grant is available only until September 2025 and provides funding for eligible students contingent on available funds:

  • Tuition & Fees
  • Books, Tools, & Supplies
  • Other miscellaneous expenses (transportation, housing, personal hygiene, childcare, testing fees)
