WVC DREAMers Task Force

Dreamers logo featuring a blue butterfly with the text "Dreamers Welcome" below the butterflyTo our Dreamers, undocumented, and DACA-mented students: you are welcome at Wenatchee Valley College. As a Hispanic-Serving Institution, we are proud of the diversity in our college community, and we are committed to providing the services and support that you need to succeed.

The WVC Dreamers Taskforce was launched in 2016 to support and resources for undocumented students, as well as training and information for WVC faculty and staff.

Purpose

To identify barriers within Wenatchee Valley College that hinder student recruitment, retention and success as a result of DACA/HB 1079/Dreamers status.  This taskforce will provide training, resources and needed support to our WVC community to best serve these students.
